I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at York University. I’ve previously taught courses at Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Rutgers University.

In the academic year 2026-27, I will be teaching two year-long undergraduate seminars: an intro to postcolonial literatures in English, and a more advanced survey of South Asian literature. In the past, I've taught courses on the bildungsroman, the South Asian diaspora, travel writing, dystopian literature and cinema, Anglo-American modernism, twentieth-century Indian literature, and Indian cinema.
